Hi Fernanda,
You will tend to find many big manufacturers on globalsources.com. Don't use Alibaba, as most suppliers there are small operations or trading companies.
Then, how to "guarantee" that you are in touch with a big company? Run a background check (with glo-bis.com, for example) on the suppliers you like.

Hello Renaud,

This is a great blog with great tips! I'm about to open an importer in Brazil and basically everybody wants to import from China and all these tips are helping me a lot!

Let me ask you something: how can I garantee that I'm purchasing from a large company? This is my biggest issue, I've been working a while as buyer and every quotation that I do seems more fake than the next!!!

Do you recommend any site where I can find the top brands in China?

Thanks,
Fernanda Garcia
